Born
in 1973 in Middlesex and brought up in Richmond, a stone's throw
from the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew. It was here that his
interest in natural history and drawing was first developed.
He
moved to Liverpool in 1992 to study Applied Biology at John
Moores University and then onto the National Museum at Liverpool
where he began public lecturing and curating specimens. Using
his artistic skills he would draw specimens for use in his lecturing,
and also as an aid for education of the school groups that would
attend the museum.
In
1997, in an attempt to capture some of the amazing forms and
textures he was studying in the zoology department, he began
painting. Since then Adam has had numerous private commissions
and exhibitions, including Mercedes Benz Uk, where his work
was accepted for the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art (the
largest event of its kind in the Uk).
In
mid-2001 Adam came to the Bronzart Casting Company and began
sculpting for the first time in an attempt to move his work
to a new, exciting level.
Adam's
sculpting talent has been entirely self taught. He is truly
a 'natural' artist and sculptor whose skills will only improve
with age. Bronzart looks forward to working with Adam and are
proud to offer the first of Adam's
designs.
